My wife and I live up on Mayodan Mountain just outside of Mayodan, NC. Neither of us are originally from this area. I was born and raised in Reidsville, NC. In 1993, I relocated to Mayodan. My wife grew up in Marion, VA. She moved to a few different places before also ending up here in Mayodan.

We're both interested in learning the history of places. Especially those places that aren't already well documented and over explored.

My wife is into dollhouses and miniatures. Currently she is working on a 1" scale modern dollhouse that has grown too large to fit through the door. You can see her project on her personal page at Miniature-Marvels.com.
