Canal

| The man made canal which runs from the dam to the Bulkhead. This shot was taken walking back from the dam towards the bulkhead. On the left only a narrow strip of land separates the Canal from the bank of the Mayo River. On the right, running parallel with the poles, is Norfolk and Southern Railway. The poles, which hold the old communications lines for the railway still have glass insulators on them. |
